🐕 Tauranga Dog Dash 🐕
Where everyday dogs become legends! **Barkfest Dog Dash** is heading to Tauranga in 2026, proudly supported by **Tauranga Vets** — a 50m (ish) sprint like no other, where your dog dashes from one human to another. It's pure joy, a touch of chaos, and a whole lot of fun for pups and their people.

🏁 **Categories:**
• **Sausage Sprint** — for the low-riding, long-bodied legends
• **Tiny Trotters** — small dogs under ~7kg
• **Mighty Middies** — medium movers 7–10kg
• **Big Softies** — gentle giants with a need for speed
• **Leggy Legends** — long-legged lopers

Depending on entries, there'll be straight finals or heats and finals — and **top 3 in each final take home a prize!**

Each dog needs **two confident, responsible humans aged 10 or over** (one at the start, one at the finish). Dogs must be highly socialised, comfortable in off-lead multi-dog environments, have a strong recall and the appropriate temperament — please read the full entry terms and conditions.

📅 **Sunday 1 November 2026, 10am – 3pm**
📍 **Memorial Park, Eleventh Avenue, Tauranga**

Will your pup be a legend? 🏆
